Every Wednesday at THE LOADED DOG, 485, Leytonstone HIgh Road, London E11, kicking off at 8.30pm, we offer jazz instrumentalists and singers the chance to strut their musical stuff with our house trio.
We've been running the jam now for over a year, and have been building quite a following - but we're still recruiting.. so if you're a horn player, trombonist, flautist, guitarist, violinist, pianist, drummer, vibrophonist, singer or er.. tin whistler - get down to THE LOADED DOG on Wednesdays!
Of course we need listeners too.. some of us prefer to appreciate rather than participate.. With your help we're creating the tastiest jam!!
If you're a player you should be ready to provide a chart for the pianist & bass player, especially if you're likely to choose a really obscure tune, or else we have our own stock of books full of jazz goodies! Our house trio consists of Phil Mead or Gabriel Keen on piano, Dave Moses or Kevin Dunford on bass, and Joanne Pooley, voice. & The Prescription Blues Jam...
Doctor Blue & The Prescription host the fortnightly Loaded Dog Blues Jam. The house band are a 4-piece (Vocals/harp/slide guitar, lead guitar, bass and drums) and have been together in various forms for the past 15 or so years, playing all over London and the South East, together with blues festivals in Ireland. The jam is an opportunity for players and singers to do their thing, either by themselves or backed by the house band. Come and play, sing or just listen!
Every other Thursday (1st and 3rd Thursday’s in the month) at THE LOADED DOG, 485, Leytonstone High Road, London E11, kicking off at 9.00pm and running through until 12.00, we offer blues players singers and players the chance to shake their money makers on stage.

We provide a full back-line, consisting of 2 guitar amps, harp amp, bass stack and drum-kit, plus the house PA with full monitors, and lights!
